“Ordinary Photos Have Stories Too”

I took these photos on November 30th, 2025, deep in the backwoods of Zealand, New Brunswick. There’s nothing particularly special about them at first glance—I was simply out on a hike and snapped a few pictures. Nothing crazy. Just ordinary photos.

But ordinary photos can have stories too.

Things have happened in the very spots where I stood to take these shots—stories we may never know, moments long forgotten, memories held quietly by the trees. And if those trees could speak, what stories would they tell?

The stories grow even more once I walk through these places, take the photos, and bring them to life through editing. They start as simple images, but the artistic edits make them stand out—make you look at them for even a second longer than you might have otherwise. The edit adds a new layer of meaning, a new chapter to the story.

Stories surround us everywhere: the good, the bad, the sad. Every day, life is unfolding all around us.

These photos represent those stories—seen and unseen—that live quietly in the ordinary.
